The Relationship between Soft Skills, Self-Efficacy, and Career Development among Malaysian Generation Z

Generation Z is the new generation that entering workforce in Malaysia. This will be major working people Malaysia, which makes their career development an important topic. From literature review, it was shown through many studies aware of soft skills but lacks practice said skills. However, they have remarkably high self-efficacy. Both and self-efficacy might influence Z’s development. leads to aim this study on identifying relationship between skills, self-efficacy, among Shah Alam, Selangor, involved a total 384 Alam. research employed quantitative correlational descriptive design. Soft Skill Questionnaire used identify respondents’ equipped deemed important. Meanwhile, variable measured by using General Self-Efficacy Scale. Lastly, assessed Career Development Assessment. Correlation analysis test variables involved. The results showed there has implications for counselling, counsellors, Z. massively.
